You will need a total clearance of 41" in the hallway to accommodate the width of the UD6. Pictured is the 5½" clearance needed on both sides on the 30" doorway. For example, a 36" wide doorway will need 2½" clearance on both sides of a 36" doorway.
If the wall measurement (#2 above) is over 5", up to and including 7", you will need to order the UD6 with our 20" custom "L" arms. There are 3 settings on these "L" arms, one standard, and two for wider settings.
If the overhead trim measurement is over 4", up to and including 6", you will need to order the UD6 with 20" custom "L" arms. There are 2 settings on the other end of the "L" arms that attach to the oak piece that allow the bar to work on overhead trim up to 4" on one setting and up to 6" of overhead trim on the other setting.
